Real Estate Complaints

Real estate investments are often the largest financial commitment. If you've faced possession delays, construction defects, promised amenities not delivered, agreement violations, fraudulent promises, or overcharging by builders or agents, you can file a complaint under RERA (Real Estate Regulation Act).

Common Real Estate Issues
  • Possession Delay: Builder failing to deliver possession within agreed timeframe
  • Construction Defects: Poor construction quality, structural issues, or defective materials
  • Missing Amenities: Promised facilities (parking, gym, pool) not provided or incomplete
  • Specification Mismatch: Property delivered with different specifications than promised
  • Extra Charges: Unexpected charges beyond the agreed payment or hidden costs
  • Fraudulent Promises: Builder making false commitments regarding location benefits or value appreciation
Documentation Required

Collect your purchase agreement and signed contract, project approval documents, booking receipt and payment proof, builder's promise documents and advertisements, correspondence with the builder, site inspection photos showing defects, construction quality reports, list of amenities promised vs. delivered, timeline commitments and delivery dates, and proof of all communications regarding delays or complaints. Maintain photographs dated during construction phases.

File your real estate complaint using the form on the right. We'll help prepare a comprehensive complaint for the RERA authority and appropriate forums.
