Banking Complaints

Banks handle your money and financial records. If you've faced unauthorized transactions, incorrect charges, account errors, fraud, poor service, or delayed resolution of issues, you have consumer protection rights to file a complaint.

Common Banking Issues
  • Unauthorized Transactions: Suspicious debits or transfers not authorized by you
  • Incorrect Charges: Unexpected service charges, processing fees, or penalty charges
  • Account Errors: Wrong balance, duplicate deposits, or incorrect credit entries
  • Delayed Transactions: Money transfers taking excessive time or NEFT/RTGS failures
  • Loan Issues: Incorrect loan calculations, unauthorized charges, or wrong EMI deductions
  • Poor Service: Rude staff, unresolved grievances, or lack of transparency in banking practices
Documentation Needed

Collect your bank account number and IFSC code, account statements showing the disputed transaction, canceled cheques if applicable, transaction reference numbers, correspondence with the bank including complaint letters and responses, evidence of phone calls or visits to the branch, and supporting documents related to the transaction (invoices, receipts, etc.). Print statements showing the error or discrepancy are essential.

File your banking complaint using the form on the right. We'll help document the issue for formal submission to the bank and RBI if needed.
